Second-hand fashion powerhouse, Vestiaire Collective, welcomes Lauren Picciano as their new lead for global communications. Picciano will be stationed in New York, joining CEO Maximilian Bittner who recently transitioned from his five-year leadership in Paris.

With a rich history from prestigious brands like Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, Adidas, and Hearst Magazines, Picciano is well-poised for this role. Reporting to Marie-Christin Oebel, the global head of marketing, her remit will encompass steering the brand's communication, media relations, and enhancing its online consumer presence.

Marie-Christin Oebel expressed the company's enthusiasm, stating, “Lauren's vast expertise in the luxury fashion domain is a valuable asset for Vestiaire Collective. Her role is pivotal in amplifying our brand's footprint, not just in North America but globally.”

A brief about Vestiaire Collective: Founded in 2009, this acclaimed fashion e-tailer has a global reach with offices in major cities from London to Hong Kong. Recently, its valuation soared past €1 billion, reflecting its significant market presence. With roots in 80 countries, its recent acquisition of US e-tailer Tradesy and funding collaborations, including one with French luxury titan Kering, further solidify its status in the luxury resale market.
